Absolutely. The future value of a Starbond is mostly deterministic, so the only motivation to sell/cover is. . .

. . .when it's going to change directions or there is something else you can make more money on over a shorter time span.

As an extreme example looking at my current starbonds, I bought JAOCO at 5.03 on 6/11/24. He's up 1237.97% at 67.30 right now. I've held him through Sinners and 28 Years Later and will likely continue to hold since his next two movies are estimated at 62.93 and 145.39 while the two movies dropping are 0.04 and 18.54 respectively, so he'll continue to "increase". If the current predictions for his movies are correct, he'd adjust to 107 on 4/23/27.

Of course, this works once you have more HSX money than you can invest, so you no longer care about how long it takes--only the direction. In your case (virtualLassy), you have to balance the wait time with opportunity costs elsewhere.
