On my port, it would work out to be about $4.5M a year...which isn't much if you really think about keeping all your cash liquid...
You can make much more than that on SOME weekend adjusts if you hold the stock correctly.
But yes, I know you did not know it was interest for the YEAR...not daily. HSX pays annual interest just like a bank would...so when the interest rates banks pay go up, then HSX does adjust the interest rate they pay.
I do remember HSX paying 1% a year, and higher at some points over the past 10 years I've played... but again, in reality we're much better off using the cash to earn profits, rather than just let it sit in our ports...
