Who said anything about losing money.
Yes. The fund is set to lose money. That's why players would short the fund instead of buy long shares. A theme isn't going to make the investments inside the fund go up or down in value.
How is The Short Fund not a theme? And what difference does it make who or what moives and funds are in the portfolio?
If all it takes is 100 mill and a theme, why aren't Funds A, B, C, all the way to Z filled with moives, funds and stars that start with that letter of the alphabet?
I think with a little crerativity, the Short fund would payoff in the long run.
