Good thinking. Yeah, in order to get to minus many millions, you have to have a crystal ball, almost. See which movies and bonds that are
priced very low at the moment, will be really HUGE later. So picking the right movies definitely requires a lot of skill and luck - just as with finding those same movie stocks to buy.
As for star bonds, some of them are very easy shorts - you can see all the movies ahead, and which movies will delist, and many bonds are safe long term short investments (for those who don't even have time to check the portfolio once a week, or even once a month). With other bonds, you just have to have a crystal ball. Not so many new projects/upcoming releases showing, but some real heavy duty blockbusters in their TAG, so you have to prognosticate somehow which of those actors will either become less attractive, or will want to branch out into arthouse movies, TV-series or stage work. Hmm, okay, it's not even that easy, because they will have to actually adjust several times, in order for those big bonds to go out of their TAG - so they'll still have to active on the movie market, just in movies that are a lot more lowkey than what they previously attached their name and (lack of) talent to......

Funds are designed around something "unique" like Actors from TV --> going to Movies, or Actors over 40, etc. Aug 15, 09:50
