Change your Strategy
I've been playing this game for over 10 years now and may not have the same port size as you, but why don't you try and embrace the changes. Challenge yourself to make fake money. From your recent rants, it's painfully obvious that you have given up and have become stubborn because your old strategy is no longer effective.
I have embraced the changes and adjusted my strategy to be more short term and less long term. Also, taking in more starbonds (less volitale, but easy to predict). I might not make millions on each starbonds like moviestocks, but it keeps my port in the green.
This past week alone, my port has made over 4 million, whereareas you are talking about losing close to 10 million. But, you also said you dumped alot of stocks recently which probably contributed to that figure.
You also complain about where you live and how the changes adversely affects you. Since the removal of "gutchecks" and allowing stocks to be halted on Saturdays instead if Friday, you should benefit greatly from that. For me, the Friday predictions come out around 3 or 4 in the morning on Saturday (EST). For you, the numbers are out 8 or 9 am on a Saturday with you living in the UK. Don't know about you, but I would love to not stay or wake up at 3 or 4 in the morning to see the overnight numbers for opening weekends to see if there is money to be made.
My suggestion to you, take a few days off and don't worry or keep working yourself up. Come back and try work in a new strategy. This upcoming weekend has 3 movies coming out and most likely one will either do better or worse than their current stock price.
