12.8 mil in funds, over 4.5 of that is profit. I concede your point that that's a pretty sizable chunk of a small port. However, for someone stuck in idle it may be worth locking those up like a CD.

Would you/others agree that it is a good strategy to search the upcoming releases and short everything that has at least 7 million shorts for every 10 million longs? I figure if that many HSXers are thinking limited release, I'll go along for the ride. Some of these movies with that ratio are over 10 dollars and if the strategy proves true it could be hugely profitable. I'm testing this strategy so I don't want to promote it yet... Obviously if a couple of those movies go wide and hit 50mil it would wipe out dozens of profitable shorts.

For a long time I struggled with losing 1 million here and 1 million there by longing a ton of movies with big name actors that ended up as limited releases, adding up to tens of millions in losses per year. Thus, I want to experiment more actively with the shorts.
