Maybe, but it seems like it would be easy to automate the process instead of manually maintaining it.
& I don't think any weighting would be necessary or desirable. The correct "weighting" is whatever a stock is priced. Just add them all together to get the total market cap. (maybe divide by 100 or 1000 to get an easy to read number)
Really it's as simple as adding together every "active" moviestock. That can't be hard.
Anyway, I did just post this in Feedback & Support so we'll see what the response is.
Perhaps the index was discontinued because it seemed random & meaningless. I guess anyone with a large portfolio would be able to tell if moviestock prices seem correlated with one another or not. All my stocks are up today so it made me wonder if it wasn't more due to an overall up day in the market or just a coincidence. Anybody with a large portfolio reading this think that moviestock prices are correlated to some degree?
