But what about the part where you'd make it all back by Sunday night, give or take the weekend opener adjusts?

Posted by: goodvibe61 on Sep 26, 17:31 in response to Hooray360's post I'll take boring over losing 4 million any day of the week.

Plus, it was the perfect opportunity to:

1. Clean up your portfolio without having to pay the price.

2. Play the players if you felt like it, which could add great profit to your portfolio.

The complaints about "losing 4 million dollars" is pretty much B.S. I've been watching and playing on Sat/Sun for a few years now at least, and I can pretty much say that's the case.

In fact, I tested the theory out several times, not making ANY trades from Saturday at 10:00 am Pacific, until reset at 9:50 pm Sunday night. On the average my portfolio would be up about 1.1 million dollars, not including resets. My port holds all movie stocks at max shares.

Either way I'm not gonna dither over it. Now I'm not gonna play much at all on the weekend, I can forget about HSX more or less from reset Friday night to reset Sunday night. And that's really a good thing.

Finally! Sensible Saturdays! {nm} shahnon Sep 26, 13:05

As much as I hate to admit it, it is. {nm} icecreamman Sep 26, 13:20

Amen!! {nm} onenil Sep 26, 15:09

Double, no TRIPLE Amen! {nm} Buckee Sep 26, 16:32

That is relative to you. I personally was profitable during last 4 saturdays without reshorting of anykind. Close to 1 M profit sometimes. {nm} Guillo Sep 26, 16:33

you actually maintained losses on saturday? Even with no action I would end positive on saturday, or get it all back sunday early AM {nm} sneak Sep 26, 17:28

Agreed. I never understood the bloody Saturday gripe. I would be down big early afternoon Saturday but always in the black by Sat evening. Broiler Sep 27, 09:13

This is a huge price to pay for something that always corrected itself by the end of the day or by Sunday afternoon. {nm} HuskyMiller Sep 26, 18:07

Indeed. {nm} Guillo Sep 26, 16:08

I once went out with a sensible girl, but I left heer for the crazy girl at the end of the bar. {nm} sneak Sep 26, 14:08

Indeed. Hot and crazy always trumps boing and sensible. Especially when she's rich. {nm} HuskyMiller Sep 26, 18:03

I think you just describe the equivalent of gravity in male thinking. It is a natural law. Guillo Sep 26, 18:18

Maybe, but my what a sword fight it be! {nm} drlorick Sep 26, 23:54

I took Crazy in my younger days. Nowadays, bored with Crazy as Crazy sometimes has STD....errr.....STV. :) {nm} shahnon Sep 27, 07:10

Thing is, once my port hit a certain amount, say H$250-300 million, commissions didn't affect it very much. Good riddance, I say. {nm} Decoman Sep 26, 19:44

This is still on B1? Must have been a slow Saturday. LoL. shahnon Sep 27, 07:14
