Saw it today. If the numbers hold I must say, VERY disappointing that this movie will hold the weekend record. Good Lord.
I guess for someone like me, all I can do is silently wait and hope that the Batman movie can take the record away from this.
It's nice to see people going to the movies. There was very little problem getting to see the picture, it must be the screen count or something. But for this? It feels like it should have been another sixty five to seventy million dollar opening, like the other weak sauce Marvel films lately, like Thor or Captain America.
This was a fairly depressing picture, in the lack of story and character department, But I think for the fans of movies like Transformers and stuff like that, this fits their bill I guess.
I'm a little stunned actually, now that it's been a couple of hours. My youngest son did like it, much more than the older who loathed it (but he wouldn't have gone at all if Ihadn't bought his ticket).
