They dump it in 11 theaters, where it does halfway decent considering the lack of ads, then take 8 of them away the next week, take two more the next, THEN it finally gets to Los Angeles...in one theater.
When it takes you a month to open your movie in LOS ANGELES, you officially don't know what you're doing.

nah, $2,379 per screen avg is awful and speaks to the quality of film more than to the release pattern. Jun 02, 18:37
