Movies

At the time it did make sense.

Posted by: Guillo (a.k.a HSXGuillo91) on Oct 11, 15:40 in response to MiyazakiFan's post How in the world did anyone go short on this one? Most...

I shorted this at 83.79 and it went down to 69.79, So market was saying it was overprice. The movie frankly speaking didn't look like it was the holy grail, I do not see kids watching this and it looked like an average comedy, look at whip it, love happens etc. during this period. Even the critics (I personally dont listen to them) were not into it. The only thing positive was that was the only one going wide and I expected that fact to make a difference but never imagine it was gonna be that. Its derivative target is 30 so assuming it reach 30 I will still have a small profit.  At the end that adjust meant  1.4 or 1.5 M difference in my NetWorth plus the derivatives tomorow.

Now I will proceed to cry some more and self torture because I could have taken the 700K I had in profit and fipp this at 69.79 to make an additional 25 per stock in one day.

Muchos gracias, senor! Up 1,6 million on a 425M port isn't an everyday trend anylonger, so much appreciated.. ;-) {nm} Facto Oct 11, 16:19

I blame secretstalker. Ok, it's not actually his fault but I have to pass the buck because I talked my wife into going short on CPLRT {nm} mrbeankc Oct 11, 12:49

OUCHIE!!! {nm} shahnon Oct 11, 13:35

It just didn't look good... and after seeing it and the reaction in theaters I didn't think it could do much better than its price secretstalker Oct 11, 14:51

At the time it did make sense. Guillo Oct 11, 15:40

This post was suppose to go under Guillo's post and...heaven knows where this will end up. I blame secretstalker for this too. {nm} mrbeankc Oct 11, 12:51

I even beg for help.... but what you know nothing, I will now crawl into fetal position, shake and call for my momy. Guillo Oct 11, 13:04

I only have myself to blame... I expect this post to end up on another website altogether. {nm} secretstalker Oct 11, 15:13
