Yes, I realize I was all over the place with my movie selections this week. Let me be... :)
I thought Harry Potter had a weakish ending, I failed to make an emotional connection with the character resolutions. Still, in my mind, this movie would compete for best in the series (I have to give Cuaron's HP3 a slight win). I never read any of the books, so any comment I make is purely based on the movies.
For the past month or so I've been making sure I watch at least 1 asian movie per week, focusing for now mainly on Takashi Miike and Ji-woon Kim. I still have plenty to go, but I'll probably need to be asking for suggestions later this year.
