The social network (rpt viewing, A+)

Reasons? Like "Moneyball," a triumph over a tricky topic. Captivating performances from its leads, Eisenberg, Garfield, Hammer and Timberlake. A haunting soundtrack. All of the routine pleasures of a Fincher film (pacing, shape, mise-en-scene, purpose).

Surprised a bit that "Looper" left you (and Maltin) cold. I enjoyed the plot, and the look, and the reversals, and all the bitter satire about a future gun-lousy America.
