Looks like xiayun and horlick's (and MTC) were right about Astro Boy
I'm pretty shocked as I expected it to at least do 9 numbers... it seemed to be marketed pretty decently for the kid market to me. It's kinda strange that we've had one of the best Octobers in years with a $25+ opener every weekend... and then Saw comes along and the box office tanks. I remember a few years back when no movies were making more than $15 million and then Saw came along and saved things. I guess those days are over. Tomorrow is going to hurt cause I went long on SAW6 and Astro Boy... but at least I have the derivatives all right. This will be a good weekend to play funds, too.
