The stock price, this far away from adjust, has almost nothing to do with expected gross. Most owners have large portfolios, and buy and hold shortly after the IPO, riding it to release. Some follow more actively, jumping on upward or downward twitches in price to make profits off of momentum trading. Every now and then, that snowballs out of control - which is what's happening right now. In an hour, or a day, or a week, the Nantucket Sleigh Ride will be over, and it'll turn around. But trying to predict when that will happen is a fool's errand.
