Probably want to divide that number by ~100k. . .

But I do think the "flip" question is worthy of discussion. Surely Star Wars is crazy front-loaded, but all those vacation days coming up in the next two weeks make it a hard call.

I flipped it nonetheless, on the logic that this week had Star Wars playing on a ridiculous number of screens. I saw a private showing on Saturday--my silicon-valley employer had rented out a at least three showings (no trailers--straight to the movie--awesome). On the way out, I noticed almost all the screens (=10) on the side of theater I was in were having private showings. That won't happen next week. . .but I agree it's not slam dunk, and I live in a weird microcosm. It was quite expensive to flip as well. . .

I decide to flip Star Wars after adjust. Good luck everyone. Who decide not to flip. mike255 Dec 20, 10:38

Not supposed to discuss trading post adjust. Here let me flip you!!!! {nm} arbybaker Dec 20, 10:46

We aren't? Are there ground rules? Always wonder what's acceptable, a list is probably somewhere in the forums. But its Mike255 nvm {nm} Baron_Darcon Dec 20, 10:51

It's in the rules... (quote) RamsFan2004 Dec 20, 10:53

I think it's as it relates to the first sentence there... {nm} RamsFan2004 Dec 20, 10:54

Thanks. That's what I had been looking for. {nm} Baron_Darcon Dec 20, 10:57

I think it's ok to discuss whether a movie will have legs or not. Christmas is coming and I suspect STAR7 will delist above adjust. {nm} ryancoke2 Dec 20, 11:00

Yeah, I think the rule of thumb is the "smell test", right?... if it seems like blatant manipulation, it probably is {nm} RamsFan2004 Dec 20, 11:10

The price is frozen right now. {nm} Antibody Dec 20, 11:13

May the Chipmucks be with you, Mike. {nm} jjmarino Dec 20, 10:48

Chipmikes? {nm} RamsFan2004 Dec 20, 10:51

Interesting...be sure to let us know how you get on. /S {nm} hyperzeitgeist Dec 20, 11:10

Just remember that for the pre-Christmas weekend openers, almost all have been post-adjust longs {nm} xiayun Dec 20, 14:05

This post-adjust feels like a tough hill to climb. I'm torn right now. {nm} JohnnyS2 Dec 20, 15:19

I did it too. Felt weird though. I'm usually so confident in the post-weekend flip, especially if front-loaded. This just seems less certain chosenone2oo5 Dec 20, 16:17

Probably want to divide that number by ~100k. . . Abraxas Dec 20, 17:27

I think a lot will flip it due to the high value and they won't want to lose that huge adjust money. {nm} Aussie Dec 20, 19:57

LOL, just dropping in to see what's up with TFA. I see Mike is still being a trouble maker. :) {nm} elchan2012 Dec 20, 21:00
