movies like Deadpool. Fox owns significant equity in New Regency, put them on their lot and has a distribution deal to release all their films.

You do like Hollywood films, just a specific genre of them. And there's nothing wrong with that.Ā

So: Went to see Revenant again, and went ahead and ducked into a Deadpool screening. goodvibe61 Feb 13, 14:52

Gaurdians? Guardians. {nm} goodvibe61 Feb 13, 15:14

So how do you really feel about it? Buy BONDS Silver edition Feb 13, 15:53

Don't Hold Back. {nm} Ryan Reynolds Feb 13, 16:02

+1 {nm} Dorfman Feb 13, 16:40

Personally I liked the movie.... Quickslver99 Feb 13, 16:09

I'm 61 and loved Guardians. That and the Thor movies have so far been the best at recapturing the whole Silver Age in comics. tradermark Feb 13, 23:21

I would expect nothing less from a 55 year old ;) {nm} Prophecy Feb 13, 16:12

Why is that? You generalize all 55 year olds into your little box, is that it? {nm} goodvibe61 Feb 13, 22:22

Glad to know you're incredibly mature, too much so to watch deadpool but not too mature to stay at a film for a hot chick. {nm} pygmydev Feb 13, 16:12

I don't think i'm really very mature. I don't feel old; I mostly just felt that, while i was watching it, DeadPool sucked for the most part. goodvibe61 Feb 13, 22:18

I'm surprised at, well, either at how well the marketing worked or how broad an interest the comic and relateds generated. second gary Feb 13, 16:39

I think Ryan Reynolds sold the movie. He is what made me want to see the movie. His humor. He's great at crass Plus Ladies Love RREYN. Dorfman Feb 13, 16:43

+1. {nm} Ryan Reynolds Feb 13, 18:20

it's telling that Fox had to put him behind a mask for 90% of the shots {nm} slipping jimmy Feb 13, 21:34

So it could have been a stand-in the whole time. . . or Andy Serkis? :) {nm} second gary Feb 13, 21:35

Personally I thought the movie was awesome. Anyone who had heard anything about the movie went in expecting adolescent, crass humor. Then Dorfman Feb 13, 16:40

It's huge? It's not the size that matters, it's how....hey....you again! {nm} MoneyMagnet Feb 13, 17:30

So you didn't buy a ticket? {nm} hyperzeitgeist Feb 13, 17:33

I bought a ticket. {nm} goodvibe61 Feb 13, 22:24

so you're saying it's not your cup of tea? =P {nm} tealfan Feb 13, 17:34

Oh grampy, you snuck in? That's not a good example for the kiddies. {nm} eternal warrior Feb 13, 17:52

How old are you warrior? {nm} goodvibe61 Feb 13, 22:20

Isn't sneaking into another movie you didn't pay for stealing? {nm} Quickslver99 Feb 13, 18:10

Yes, yes it is. {nm} magicdreamer Feb 13, 18:40

I thought it doesn't count as stealing if you didn't enjoy it... ;( {nm} BSmurf Feb 13, 19:56

+1 {nm} Quickslver99 Feb 13, 19:59

Or if you duck back out again. {nm} hyperzeitgeist Feb 14, 02:25

So you are saying that this movie is checking all the boxes for the target audience and that you not part of that audience. How interesting. {nm} Willroast Feb 13, 21:04

Yeah, it's pretty fascinating stuff. And yes, Hollywood has definitely passed me by, obviously. They have nothing for me at this point. goodvibe61 Feb 13, 22:16

You need to make Arnon Milchan understand, not me. Because for the past 30 years he's described himself as an "independent" producer. {nm} goodvibe61 Feb 14, 00:27

Who produces studio/Hollywood movies {nm} Moviesnob Feb 14, 00:34
