PC message based. The problem with analysis audience reaction is you miss the audience that skipped it. Of my 10+ male friends only 3 of us saw it. Only one liked it and he has the lowest standards of anyone I know. I refused to pay for it. We're all huge fans of the original. Yeah Miller directed it but Mad Max was an ancillary character in his own movie! He was a blood bag and muzzled for the first Act. He stuttered when he weakly said his name, It was just a 90 minute car chase. He was paralyzed by his disjointed hallucinations/ flashbacks. I liked Theron's character, she became the main star, and that's why it got praise. Watch the original 3 movies. This Max by Hardy is a weak shadow. he had no great lines or actions. Lots of plot holes too. Sure the stunts were spectacle and the metal flamethrowing guitar guy was cool. But the glutton bizarre antagonist were just ugh...
