It's the 3rd biggest second Tuesday ever, behind Star Wars 7 and Avatar, both of which got Christmas break boost, so it's the biggest second Tuesday ever for a summer release, over Jurassic World's $13.1m.
JW grossed another $225m afterward, which would put Dory at $536m. If we want to be more precise and use the same ratio, its total would be 311 + 14.6/13.1*225 = $561m! Quite a bit new competitions the next few weeks, so we will see the weekend holds, but so far the dailies have been amazing.
