In other news, I finally went to see Alice in a large THX-theater with real D 3D and semi-curved screeen etc. Underwhelming. B (no spoils)
The girl I went with and I both felt the same thing: Difficult to get immersed in it. We were watching it, but it didn't grip us. Was as if there was a filter between us and the action.
That being said, those near 2 hours flew by. The film was almost there. It was quite a spectacle, but lacked the X-factor. It may have been the theater, but we just couldn't get into it, fascinating although it was..
Anybody else have this experience with it?
