Last night, I came up with a kind of crazy theory about the future of the MCU...
This came out of the fact that Jeremy Renner already booked a new series after Hawkeye, making me think that's the last of him in the MCU and maybe Marvel/Disney are hoping to create a younger (and woke) Avengers for the next movie. I thought Letitia Wright was great in the Small Axe film, Mangrove, and I'd like to see if she can carry a Black Panther movie but if they're looking for a way to be seriously woke, an Avengers with Anthony Mackie's Falcon, Ironheart, Shuri, Shang-Chi, Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk ... and I guess Ant-Man as the token white guy...or Moon Knight? ... might play well even though it has nothing to do with the comics. But that certainly seems like a cheaper option (in terms of above the line talent) for another Avengers movie... and yeah, they should pay Ryan Coogler a lot of money to direct that one, too.
