Well, there it is... Salem's Lot moved to 4/21/23 TheWeekendWarrior Jul 11, 08:58

The Last Train to New York is now "temporarily" undated, House Party's HBO Max release on July 28th pulled. notfabio Jul 11, 09:06

WB just had screenings of HOUSE PARTY in June, maybe they're thinking a theatrical release of some kind? (I doubt it though) {nm} notfabio Jul 11, 09:07

For what it's worth the same screening outfit IOTA that screened HP is doing another screening of EVIL DEAD RISE tonight too. {nm} notfabio Jul 11, 09:09

Oddly, Last Train was written by the director of Salem's Lot... but no cast announced yet? {nm} TheWeekendWarrior Jul 11, 09:12

Sounds like SALEM'S LOT had reshoots 6 weeks ago, so two ways to read into that I suppose.... notfabio Jul 11, 09:53

I wonder if Paramount will shove Orphan into September {nm} bsbbtnh Jul 11, 10:01

They already have SMILE on 9/30, BARBARIAN took the Salem's Lot date and DON'T WORRY DARLING has horror elements 9/23 {nm} notfabio Jul 11, 10:15

If I had to guess, dump it during Thanksgiving, dump it at Xmas (ala Weinstein horror films), or dump it Jan/Feb {nm} notfabio Jul 11, 10:20

I read 'rumours' of a September release last week when the first pic 'leaked', and Furhman hyped the trailer release on IG this weekend, but bsbbtnh Jul 11, 10:45

Was this originally produced by WB who released the original Orphan? {nm} TheWeekendWarrior Jul 11, 10:44

I (think) it was produced outside of it, Joel Silver's production deal at WB expired a few years ago. {nm} notfabio Jul 11, 10:57

Did Joel Silver get cancelled or #MeTooed? Last movie of his was that Superfly remake? {nm} TheWeekendWarrior Jul 11, 11:23

Not cancelled per se, but he was kicked out of his own production company in 2019 and finally settled in 2021. Lack of output, overspending. notfabio Jul 11, 11:42

Dark Castle owns that IP {nm} Moviesnob Jul 11, 11:11

Do you know if Dark Castle is considered part of Silver Pictures or is it carved out? {nm} notfabio Jul 11, 12:06

I think they are on their own now. SEANCE was the first title they produced in awhile {nm} Moviesnob Jul 11, 13:47
