Poor Things (PRTHN) is probably my number 1 film I'm looking forward to. I can't wait for this.

Yorgos is the man. 

This story is PERFECT for him. It feels inevitable that he'd do this. The book is fantastic. It was right up my tree from page one. And I think he's going to knock it out of the park, I really do. 

I hope it plays Cannes or something early on in the year so we can get a bead on it. 

Over on Ruimy's site, people were trying to knock the movie down a few pegs solely because it wasn't coming out this fall. And that's just ridiculous. I can't wait for this movie. I will be there. Yorgos has set a high bar for himself after The Favourite, but i'm optimistic he's up to the task of making another very interesting picture.
