its that the film will do better on the platform with a traditional theatrical release. Discovery isnt the smartest folks but they got this idea immediately b/c Warner was stupid enough to dump their whole slate in 2021 that they could A/B it.
Nothing Ted is saying now is new. Its weird people are surprised. The reason they did this with GLASS ONION is because Rian wanted it and the theaters actually agreed
The only thing that surprising is that Spencer Klein is still there. What does he do all day? Maybe Fox was so soul crushing that he doesnt care and just cashing checks. He's one of the best theatrical distributors in the biz.
