What I don't understand about it though

is how many movies do you need to sell to get the $45.45m needed?
2 * $175 movies (or just a SPID9 if you're still holding ;-) ought to be enough (and that too only if you're COMPLETELY out of funds).
This mayhem (likely to go on till Sat at least) is unwarranted.
