Batman spoilers (from animated movie Son Of Batman)....

a) Damien's grandfather (Bruce Wayne's father) was shot and killed in an alley when Bruce was young

b) Damien's grandfather (Raj Ah Ghul) is killed at beginning of story which is why Damien is sent away to live/hide with Bruce
