It’s funny to think how the first Equalizer and John Wick films came out the same year four weeks apart.
The first Equalizer did much better than the first John Wick at the box office. The second Equalizer did slightly better than the second John Wick. Yet the third Equalizer will not come close to the box office of the third John Wick. The John Wick franchise has grown in box office while the Equalizer franchise has remained stagnant in box office with the third movie in the latter fated to perform the same-ish.
