MNight still achieved his goals with the movie and everyone that liked the franchise but thinks the movie sucks is shallow?
Saw it. Thought it sucked. Thought it was a disrespectful charicature of the Avatar show as opposed to a live action retelling. Had me wishing I was in line for the tweenie porn franchise instead.
The thing will probably make 40mill despite being crap. It'll be spun as the franchise being 2 years away from its peak as opposed to being mishandled in every way possible and MNight gets another pass.
Hope his next film goes back to the surprise twist ending. SURPRISE! You sat through my movie and it didn't stink.
