I assume big operators like AMC know what they're doing, but-took my son to see Wonka with a group at 18 screen cinema last night. I wanted
to see something else, but at 6 pm my only choice was the last half of Boys in the Boat or Iron Claw. Boy and Heron & Godzilla, both of which I would gladly have seen, only played until ~ 3 PM. Parking lot had maybe 30-40 cars in it. Seems like if they are keeping that huge building open, heating and lighting it, etc., they should run movies more often at the very least. Wouldn't it be better to have 2 people see something than zero? Or do they have to pay someone every time they run a film?
