i think writers (TV & features) would say they've been waiting for years for anyone else but Greg Berlanti to get the greenlights
there were several other fake moon landing specs on the Black List over the past decade so it's not like he was exactly plowing new ground, but also probably many other rom-com writers better suited to the premise if that's what you really wanted it to be
