I don't think thunderbolts will be obliterating anything.
Not that it'll do poorly, but it's not a 200m OW movie, or even 150. When Antman3 and Cap4 opened none of the other movies had unusually large drops. I think the market supports a new 100m opener pretty easily these days, 100m being the equivalent of 70-80m from before the pandemic, and with a marvel movie it's mostly bringing in a whole new crowd that wouldn't have gone otherwise.
DL: SHADOW FORCE will now open one week later on May 9th so it won't be totally obliterated by THUNDERBOLTS. Apr 09, 10:49

My expectations are similar at the moment for THUNDERBOLTS, still feels D+ Show Pay-Off Movie vs a huge Marvel Event. {nm} Apr 09, 11:54
