Before his much more successful solo career (probably what most people want to see, Bad, Thriller, etc). The second installment would mix that part of his career with later controversy and legal issues (which most people wouldn't want to see).

That's a much more commercial split than "end pt 1 on the FBI raid" {nm} notfabio May 23, 12:24
