Speaking of that football coach; I had a wonderful little talk with Aaron Eckhart out in the Egyptian courtyard:
He wasn't visiting for that particular film of course; but I couldn't help but ask him what it was like to be there in person when they were filming that scene. He told me it was one of the most incredible things he'd ever seen in his life. He said they shot that scene about half a dozen times, and not only was any one take unbelievable, but the art of getting prepared to do it several times; he thought the performance was just out of this world. He said most of the actors there were literally stunned. He said that even LT was literally pulverized by it.
