I feel that sequels and kids movies are especially hard to track, mainly cause of how polling is done. If someone gets a phone call and are asked some of the questions they ask (and I know this from getting these calls and having to explain to the poller that I'm outlier), it's going to be biased towards sequels because for the most part, people have heard of them. Kids films are hard to guage because they're not polling actual kids. This is why I have rarely put faith in tracking even when I used to get the raw data and was able to do direct comparisons.
