Second weekend of SPID9 is gonna be interesting... only needs $150m to set a new record (about a 57% drop)

What's strange is that SPID8 had a 67% 2nd weekend drop, though its second Friday was Christmas Eve... the biggest 2nd weekend is still STAR7 with $149.2 million and that was helped by that weekend being Christmas Day and the two days that followed. Five new movies opened that second weekend with the strongest being Daddy's Home, much stronger than One Night Only.


Spider-Man: No Way Home also went up against five new movies in its second Christmas weekend with Sing 2 being the strongest.. but nothing else did great.
