DIST9

Posted by: skilley on Aug 10, 13:49

District 9 is going to bomb so hard!!! It's just not something the masses will go to see. 18 million the first weekend, but it doesn't clear 42 million by the time it is de-listed. I'll disclose that I have gone short as of this morning, so yeah, I guess I'm talking my book a bit, but this thing is not going to be a success.

LOLwut? {nm} adrenalin112 Aug 10, 13:53

I dont no how long you have been trading here, but this is the tyo of movie that HSX will overestimate by a lot, there have been exceptions {nm} gogreen Aug 10, 13:55

although I do think this one is goning to have a strong opening, and will definitly have legs {nm} gogreen Aug 10, 13:56

What is "strong" for you? sprinter319 Aug 10, 13:59

One exception was Cloverfield, which was also a secretive production Sci-Fi monster pic marketed virally and produced by a famous director. {nm} Antibody Aug 10, 14:17

cloverfield also wasnt rated R & had 500 more theaters. {nm} adrenalin112 Aug 10, 14:25

Skilley has been around a long time, I think. Many years. Facto Aug 10, 14:18

It might not open very large, but there is 0 chance it does not have excellent legs {nm} MiyazakiFan Aug 11, 10:13
