lovely language skills... but...

Posted by: dvsinla on Apr 15, 15:52 in response to coogan's post twitter is BS

i agree tweets mean very little...  maybe good word of mouth for a movie but not predicting weekend

midnight were surprisingly low...  my theater was mega packed so i don't get that...

originally i thought 40 mill but now i'm thinking mid 20's.... fandango % seem to match with that

but the anger and foul language and guessing will be all for naught in a few hours

movie was awesomely fun though

Scream 4 has surpased 30,000 tweets winstonman78 Apr 15, 15:31

Here is the comparison we were wanting. At least someone can get their numbers straight. winstonman78 Apr 15, 15:34

I would submit that the "anger and foul language" will continue on regardless of how the movies rank. HSX is split so 50% mad either way. {nm} PVL Admin Apr 15, 16:20

Hey no matter what we r all "WINNING" ;) {nm} winstonman78 Apr 15, 16:22

Sure, so your arguement has to do with the relative weakness of RIO/Scream 4 BionicMoron Apr 15, 17:30

Kinda like the most Tweets on Monday since HPOT7 stat. :) At some point, the actual box offfice is more representative than the tweets. {nm} Antibody Apr 15, 16:26

Agreed. Everything has its place and time. Hey, I'm even going against my own prediction charts this week. {nm} PVL Admin Apr 15, 16:31

Oh, now you've done it! Opened the coral doors. As you have noted, it's still early. I have both my gloat face and sad face at the ready. {nm} PVL Admin Apr 15, 16:35
