MVP caliber? He has 1 home run in two (!) years at Target Field. That's pathetic. He's batting like 280 with 1 HR and 25 RBIs this season. He's a singles hitter. How come on contract year he was magically able to hit 28 HRs and now that he got the contract he barely even plays and can't hit with any power? Now that he has the contract he doesn't give a crap about playing hard. The local press is ripping him to shreds but just think of how bad he would get it had he left and signed with the Yankees or Red Sox. He'd run home crying to mommy based on how big a baby he is. He offers no personality or more importantly, leadership. He's like the anti-Cal Ripken.
