Danny Trejo spent most of his youth in prison on numerous criminal charges. His life started to turn around when he attended a 1985 Cocaine Anonymous meeting where he met a filmmaker. Trejo was cast as a convict extra for 1985's Runaway Train. Since than, Trejo has appeared in dozens of T.V. and feature film productions. More recently, the actor appeared in 1998's Six Days, Seven Nights and Spy Kids
