Does the UI of Firefox 29 suck, or what? Especially if you're interested in maximum usable vertical space.

it looks like a cheap Chrome knockoff. only have used it for a little browsing and one trade, but hsx 'seems' faster on it.

FF seems to get more and more bloated with every release. I've jumped ship over to Chrome.

Chrome has never worked well on my 'puters. Very slow. And, once configured, FF gives me more vertical content space. I'm kinda stuck

Thanks for the vote of confidence! ;) You'll never see colored grouped tabs on Chrome. The UI cannot be changed like FF.

Really? I have the same (if not more) vertical space than FF. Never seen Chrome run slow. Have you had it installed for a while? Maybe reset

Firefox "once configured" has more room. It's all about NOT having to view the URL bar, but having it an ALT-keypress away.
