There is basically no Political Will for helping Veterans. It's RAH RAH Huge Support when they are Fighting somewhere, Waving the Flags, but not so much when they come back. While Canada's treatment of Veterans is poor, it is downright despicable South of the Border (based on documentaries, news reports & the Veterans Health Administration Scandal).
Canada closed nine (9) Veterans Affairs Offices and is Chintzy on Veterans Funeral Expenses. For the most part, the Public (USA & Canada) does not seem to really care that much about Veterans (the live ones that return).
HUGE Support for the ones still Fighting, of course.
But if the Federal Govt is involved that would be a radical chg in policy and would require new laws and who would Jul 22, 21:48
