Well you'll need 1 for the main entrance, one for the back entrance, probably want one for patrols. Then backup for when the
other guards are on break. A tank would be a good idea, you know just in case. And an anti rocket crew cuz one day some kid might bring a RAM to school. Better yet, maybe even an armed guard attached to every single kid.
Of course, you'd have to find something else for these guys to do, painting, fixing broken lockers, etc, because the odds of them actually having to put down an armed insurgent is about what 1 in 5000, 10000? Although it would suck if the guard was in the restroom plunging toilets while an armed kid was out there. Maybe its better to just have the guards stand at attention and wait for trouble.
