It's called "Her Story" and it tasks the player/watcher (it is not a traditional "game" really) with watching vidoe footage of police interviews with a lady whose husband has been murdered. The interviews are broken up into clip that are anywhere from 10 seconds to 2 minutes long and it's up to you use keywords to to find and watch the clips. For example, the first word search that is used (ie already on the screen when you start) is "murder". You click search and then all the clips with that word spoken in it will result. You watch them and then come up with another word or phrase that you want to look up and so on.
I had it given to me but I think that it costs like 5 bucks from the link below. It takes anywhere from 2 to 3 hours to complete and can be stopped and started at your leisure. I don't play any computer games (except for HSX of course) and it worked fine on my cheap laptop. It felt a lot like a version of True Detective where you actually go to, in a way, ask the questions to the players in the mystery (kid of like I'm sure many wished they could have done last season with the detectives). It also feels a little like what I imagine an ARG (alternate reality game) might feel like.
Anyway, he's a link if you think it sounds fun. I recommend it highly if you think an interactive mystery would be fun. My friends and I have had a real kick with it comparing our stories of how we got to our conclusions on who, what, why, and all that. Good times.
