Right, but someone like me, who had my NYC apartment stll on lease, but was quarantining in NJ...was technically in NJ....
so I could have put down either address. But I just put down honestly where I was. In NYC you have young people moving all the time to with temp rental apartments so they could lose thier NYC address if they even move for a month or whatever. and this was being done right during the early part of the pandemic. So...the point is...we will never really know how a true number, down to 89 people...and they will likely lose a seat now due to some strange occurences. (my friend also did the same thing and was in Florida for 6 months...he might have put down FL isntead of NY, as he let his lease expire, and is now back in the city already.)
Congress after Census. Texas will gain two seats, CO, FL, MT, NC and OR gain 1. CA, IL, MI, NY, OH, PA and WV lose 1. Apr 26, 13:02
NY would have kept its seat at Minnesota's expense if 89 more people had filled out their census {nm} Apr 27, 11:36
