It's been a while since the new site was introduced. Why is it that we still cant trade a stock right out of our portfolio?
It is VERY VERY annoying having to open each stock I own in a new window in order to flip it... I mean, you put a pop up window over the "trade" button that has a field for trading any amount in any direction, it just doesn't work (unless you want to "radar" or "buy max" or "sell max" in the same direction you already own the stock). Am I wrong for thinking that it is ridiculous to have gone so long without fixing this, probably the single most basic tool needed for trading? If you can't fix the stupid pop up button, just give us the little box back where you type the name of the stock and which way you want to trade it. It cannot be that hard to do, you had it back when people came to this site on dialup connections, why make it so stupidly difficult for us today?
Also, not as important as my complaint above, but your search function could use some work. Searching for "spider man" or "spiderman" brings no results. However, just search for the word "spider" and the SPID4 page comes up automatically. Searching for "Man" brings up several titles, one of which is SPID4. I realize there's a hyphen in the actual title, but if it recognizes Spider and Man anyway, why not spider man? Just a minor problem, however. I would hate if somebody wasted their time fixing that (or any other issue) before fixing the major, glaring error on the portfolio page.

If you're talking about a button that allows you to "flip" a stock...sell it then short it, cover it then buy it, etc... Aug 17, 08:05

Trading as you've described is not practical. Each trade requires a port reload. Aug 17, 14:37
