You can trade stocks directly out of your Portfolio
The rollover trade button to the right allows you to do so. You will leave the Port page only to see the Confirmation screen unless you have checked the Auto Trade Confirmation preference in your Account Settings. If you prefer confirmation, that screen includes a link directly back to your port.
If for some reason this is not working for you, please write to us at support@hsx.com with as full a description of the steps you are taking as you can.

If you're talking about a button that allows you to "flip" a stock...sell it then short it, cover it then buy it, etc... Aug 17, 08:05

Trading as you've described is not practical. Each trade requires a port reload. Aug 17, 14:37
