why i don't care any more
hate to say it but since the redesign, i just don't visit anymore. going back further, the first attempt at a redesign caused me to go from being a daily player to maybe a couple times a week. i'll admit, i'm not a big fan of change to begin with, but the reasons i came to the site daily are gone. cold cash may have been and antiquated revenue stream, but it was habit. you took that away without replacing it with anything else. same with first choice.
the final straw was the elimination of the rankings. this was a competition for me. i was able to get to the top 1.1% of players. now, i have no idea where i stand.
for all the complaints about how slow the system is, the sad thing is, i don't play it enough to even notice.
i understand the need to update the back end of the site, but from all the complaints, it seems that there wasn't a clear understanding of what brought people here, or why they kept coming back. what a waste.
