I have a suggestion...
...don't bother reading the forums. I've been playing since 1998 and I'm ranked 345th right now (and I consider myself a hack at best). I read the forums three or four times a year, mainly when the site is down or something major is happening. Beyond that, I'm just not interested. All the information you need is on the internet. Trust your instincts and have fun with the game.
