Your snarky response here is exactly the type of posts that are ruining the fun at HSX for a lot of players. Why did you even need to chime in to my post? It did not mention you or involve you ...it sure did not need your snarky response.
But to respond to you... I run the largest league at HSX (RazorHawk's HSX School) with over 200 memebers and the topic of rude posters and unneeded snarkiness has been brought up there and discussed.
I also run a website (The HSX Dude) that is aimed at helping new to medium range players and I have been training a handfull of players through email and IM how to find reliable news and how to post it at HSX. The feedback that I have recieved from them is that they have observed the HSX boards and the stupid, immature, and snarky replies and they do not think it is worth posting news on the HSX boards if their character is going to be attacked, or if all it is going to do is attrack snarky replies.
A player (who was not prompted by me) has taken an initiative and posted their feelings about the matter on HSX's "Feedback" forum offering their feedback about the situation. That is there way to contact HSX about the matter.
Guillo, do you have something constructive to add to thread? This thread has seemed to catch your attention. How do you feel about the level of personal attacks, immaturity and snarkiness on the HSX boards? HSX as a business is trying to get the attention of the entertainment industry, do you think immaturity, rudeness, snarkiness and personal attacks on the HSX boards is the best way to go about that? I would like to hear your thoughts since you have shown interest in this topic...
