Is there a way to change rankings to something that eliminates port size from the equation?

I'd like to see where traders stand but the two methods for doing that are $H gains per time or % gains per time. The first favors large ports like mine that can earn a lot of money because we have a lot in play and the latter favors smaller ports who can have big percent changes on relatively little $H gains. What about formulating a comparision based on per $100,000 or $1M like per capita or demographics (crimes per 100,000 people, college grads per 100,000 people, etc) are measured? That way ports large and small can directly compete and see who the better trader is since port size is taken out. Is the better trader the one with the big port, or the one who just reset their port? I think that can add quite a bit to competition, particularly in leagues.

It doesn't necessarily have to replace any current measure, but can add to those already present.
